CRUMBLE is the story of a young, lonely girl who fantasizes about Justin Timberlake; her widowed mother, who fantasizes about Harrison Ford; and their underappreciated apartment, who fantasizes about the days it was better cared for. It's Christmas, and a year has passed since the untimely death of Janice's father. In an effort to cope, Janice holds spiteful conversations with her dolls, Mother prepares six course meals, and their deteriorating Apartment incessantly begs for repairs. Their only true comfort comes from visits from their respective celebrity crushes -- Justin Timberlake and Harrison Ford. With the support of Justin's affection, Janice begins to craft a plan that will mend the chasm in the second collaboration between playwright Callaghan and director and company member Shirley Serotsky, a 2008 Helen Hayes nominee for Outstanding Director. Last season Catalyst produced, and Serotsky directed, Callaghan’s remarkable WE ARE NOT THESE HANDS. Cast: Kathleen Akerley, Eric Messner, Casie Platt, Elizabeth Richards*, and Jason Stiles
