Jason Cowperthwaite joined the Catalyst family as a company member with Season 6's The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui after designing lights for the company’s productions of Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me and Shkspr Prjct. He is currently the Assistant Technical Director and Production Manager for The Catholic University of America’s Department of Drama. Recent lighting design credits include The Children’s Hour and Two Headed (Washington Shakespeare Company), Fool for Love and Arms and the Man (The Bay Theatre Company), The Curator (Catholic University), and DC’s regional premiere of Sam Shepard’s new play The God of Hell (Didactic Theatre Company). Upcoming designs include lights for Didactic Theatre’s regional premiere of Orange Flower Water and Journeyman Theater’s The Christmas Foundling.
