Ellen is a Catalyst company member and has appeared in seven Catalyst productions to date: Woyzeck, The Learned Ladies, The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail, Turcaret, 1984, The Elephant Man and Cloud 9. Ellen understudied Michael Learned (and performed) in the role of Elizabeth for The Folger's Elizabeth the Queen. Other recent productions include: Theater J's Hannah & Martin, Longacre Lea Productions’ After Magritte; Cherry Red Productions’ Killer Joe; Fountainhead Theatre’s A Delicate Balance; and Washington Shakespeare Company’s production of The Revenger’s Tragedy. Ellen has studied with Uta Hagen at HB Studios in New York City and Will Geer and Victor French in Los Angeles.
